Regarding vehicles used for trade parked overnight;

After the compliance notifications went out, inquires have come in asking the board for clarifications on some general rules. Work trucks used in trade is one such item which comes across rather vague in the rules. I believe we all agree this is a residential area and your neighbors appreciate not seeing unsightly vehicles parked over night in your driveway all week long. Referring to trucks covered in ladders, compressors hanging off the sides, or covered in advertisements. Assuming the vehicle is registered to you, find a way of parking it in the garage, purchase magnetic covers for the advertisements, try not allowing it to appear as if it is a mobile storage shed. If it's your employer's and they have no lot to park it at, or you can't afford your own car, then you need to explain this to your boss and make some other arrangements. The board hopes you can remain in the "spirit" of this rule. If there is a hardship involved bring it to our attention. Other than circulating a petition with your neighbors to alter this regulation, the board is obliged to notify it's members to comply. Generally the board feels we are not allowed to "cherry pick" which rules to enforce. Some rules might come across as petty, but each one broken sets a precedence which can lead to degradation of all rules. Let's not try to push the envelope and be aware of your neighborhood concerns.
